BuzzFeed SHIFT hosted its first evening forum called, “Beauty & Fashion in the Age of Social” on Tuesday night. Jonah Peretti, Founder & CEO of BuzzFeed and Amy Odell, editor of BuzzFeed SHIFT, kicked-off the night with an open dialogue on how digital content has evolved for women in the social space.
Following this, Jon Steinberg, President of BuzzFeed moderated a panel on beauty and fashion ecommerce with speakers: Ari Goldberg, CEO of StyleCaster; Sonia Sahney, Founder of Pickie, Hayley Barna, Founder & CEO of Birchbox and Meghan O’Keefe, writer at HelloGiggles.
